Designing with corten steel for restaurant and bar area

The design of the Olbia Costa Smeralda airport’s Kara Kiosk outdoor sign is made of corten steel with internal lighting to ensure considerable visibility at a distance even during the night. The perforated mark in the center of the rim allows greater illumination. To ensure the visibility of the kiosk from different points of view, two 90cm diameter banners were placed side-by-side with the kiosk and a larger front central one above the main entrance. The sign inside the refreshment area is made with material recovered from an old aircraft.
